[ A positive attitude has been shown by the new pakistani captain Mis Bah Ul Haq for the compulsory Decision Review system ]
Misbah-Ul -Haq Pakistani captain, has come out in support of the ICC's choice to construct the Decision Review System (DRS) compulsory in Tests and ODIs, telling the technology reduces the heaviness on the umpires. Misbah told he has found the process to be beneficial whenever Pakistan have used it, together with throughout the World Cup.
"From my personal knowledge, I have found the method which is extremely constructive and fundamentally it provides the batting and fielding side a second chance, if the umpires have a shocking day or judgment," Misbah said Geo Sports in a conference. "If you observe at it positively it diminishes stresses on umpires in tough pronouncement."
The ICC head executives' committee commonly agreed to formulate a modified version of the DRS mandatory in all Tests and one-day internationals at the ICC's yearly general meeting in Hong Kong last month. The mandatory terms and circumstances for the DRS that have been recommended to the executive board for authorization consist of infra-red cameras and audio-tracking devices. The ball-tracking technology has been eliminated from the ICC's innovative compulsory list of DRS technologies.
"I am all for any technology that makes the sport more inaccuracy free and offers more options to the challenging teams and players," Misbah told. "Evidently with each novel technology there will be hiccups but once the technology gets better, it will be become more helpful for teams."
